To download a TikTok video on Android without the watermark, tap Share → Copy link in TikTok, paste the link into the box above in Chrome (or any Android browser) and tap Download. The MP4 goes to the phone's Download folder, and gallery apps such as Google Photos or Samsung Gallery show it in a Download album.
How to save a TikTok on Android
- Copy the link. In TikTok, tap the Share arrow next to the video and choose Copy link.
- Paste it here. Open ReelTik in Chrome, Samsung Internet or Firefox, tap Paste and then Download.
- Choose the file. Tap Without watermark (H.264), the HD button if it is shown, or MP3 audio for the sound only.
- Open it. Tap Open in the download message, or find the file later in Files → Downloads or in your gallery's Download album.
Where the video is saved on Android
Android browsers save downloads to the shared Download folder in internal storage. You can open it with Files by Google, Samsung's My Files app or whatever file manager your phone came with – look for Downloads.
Because the file sits in shared storage, gallery apps pick it up as well. In Google Photos it appears under Collections (or Library) → On this device → Download; in Samsung Gallery it is in the Download album. You don't need to move it anywhere to watch or share it.
Browser differences
Chrome shows a small bar at the bottom of the screen while the file downloads; its menu (⋮) → Downloads lists everything you have saved. Samsung Internet keeps the same list under its menu → Downloads, and Firefox shows a notification when the file is done.
If a download does not start, check that the browser has not been set to ask where to save each file, and that the phone still has free storage – videos are usually a few megabytes to a few dozen megabytes.
H.264 or HD on an Android phone
The H.264 file plays on every Android phone and in every messaging app. The HD file is usually encoded with H.265 (HEVC): most phones from recent years play it without trouble and it often looks sharper, but some older or entry-level models and some third-party players struggle with it.
If the HD file stutters, shows a black picture or will not open, download the H.264 version of the same video instead. It is the same clip, only in a more widely supported format.
Where to find your TikTok download

| Samsung Internet | Menu → Downloads; stored in My Files → Download |
| Files by Google | Browse → Downloads |
| Google Photos | Collections / Library → On this device → Download |

Android questions
Do I need to install an APK or an app?
No. The download runs in your browser. There is nothing to install, and you don't log in to TikTok.
Why doesn't the video appear in my gallery?
Some gallery apps only show camera folders at first. Open the Download album, or look in Files → Downloads. Refreshing the gallery app or restarting it usually makes the new file appear.
Can I save the video to an SD card?
Browsers save to internal storage. After downloading, use your file manager to move the MP4 from Download to the SD card.
The HD video won't play on my phone. Why?
The HD file uses the H.265 codec, which a few older phones and players cannot decode. Download the H.264 version, which plays everywhere.
Can I keep only the sound?
Yes. Tap MP3 audio instead of a video button and the soundtrack is saved to the Download folder as an MP3 file, ready for any music player.
Can I download from private accounts?
No. Only posts that anyone can watch on TikTok can be downloaded.
