What ReelTik is
ReelTik is a free website for saving public TikTok posts to your own device. You paste the link of a TikTok video or photo post, and ReelTik gives you the video as an MP4 file without the TikTok watermark, the sound as an MP3 file, or the pictures of a photo post. It runs in any modern web browser on phones, tablets and computers; there is nothing to install and no account to create.
What you can save
- Video without watermark – an MP4 file encoded with H.264, which plays on practically every device.
- HD video – the higher-resolution H.265 (HEVC) copy, offered only when TikTok provides one for that post.
- Original with watermark – the version TikTok shows in its app, offered only when TikTok provides it.
- MP3 audio – the sound of a video or photo post as an MP3 file.
- Photo posts and slideshows – every image in full resolution, one by one.
Both full links (tiktok.com/@user/video/…, tiktok.com/@user/photo/…) and short share links (vm.tiktok.com/…, vt.tiktok.com/…) work. Only posts that are publicly visible on TikTok can be saved; private posts and posts shared only with friends cannot.
How it works
- You copy the link of a TikTok post (in the app: Share → Copy link) and paste it on ReelTik.
- Our server looks the post up on TikTok. If TikTok does not answer, the link may be sent to the third-party service tikwm.com, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
- You see the formats that are available for that post and pick one.
- Your browser downloads the video straight from TikTok's servers when it can; otherwise the file is streamed from TikTok through ours. MP3 audio is converted on the fly.
What ReelTik does not do
- It does not store videos, sounds or pictures: nothing you download is written to our disks.
- It has no user accounts and sets no advertising trackers. It sets no advertising cookies and runs first-party statistics on its own server without IP addresses or stored links. Where permitted by regional policy, privacy-friendly Google Analytics is enabled by default to understand site traffic (with conservative prior consent required in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and unknown regions); you can turn it off at any time via Analytics Settings in the footer (see the Privacy Policy).
- It does not ask for your TikTok login and cannot reach private content.
- It does not host, upload or republish anyone's content.
Independent from TikTok
ReelTik is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok, Douyin or ByteDance; TikTok is mentioned only to describe which links the service accepts. Every video, sound and picture belongs to its creator – please keep downloads for personal use and ask the owner before reusing their work (see the Terms of Use).
Languages
The downloader is available in 14 languages: English, Español, Português, Bahasa Indonesia, Français, Deutsch, العربية, Türkçe, Tiếng Việt, Русский, 日本語, 简体中文, 繁體中文, ไทย. It also has pages for TikTok to MP3 and photo posts.
Contact
You can reach the people who run ReelTik by email at contact@reeltik.com – for download problems, copyright or abuse reports and privacy requests. There is no contact form; see the contact page for what to include.
